Why the Compact-A-Barrier?

Traditionally barriers are made from Wood and metals and are heavy and bulky to transport. Barrier Boards are one of the most important tools in road maintenance and are used extensively in many different industries to cordon off areas, temporarily identify hazards, support signs and lights indicating road works or issues ahead.

Lightweight and compact for storage in vehicles (fits in the boot of an average size car or uses minimal space if stored in an upright position on Trucks and emergency vehicles).

Traditionally Barrier boards are used extensively in the following industries: Road Authorities/Rail Authorities/emergency and defence, Utilities, Warehousing/logistics and manufacturing.

How to Use the Compact-A-Barrier
 
1. Pull on the yellow lever and lift slightly to release the A-frames as per the picture
2. Keep lifting the board until A-frames are removed
3. While you are holding the board extend it to the desired length by holding the handle and the outer of the board.
4. Assemble the A-frames just by opening the outer legs and locking them in the lower section.
5. Place the legs on each end as shown in the picture and weigh down with sandbags to keep in place as you would normally do with any other barrier.
6. To re-assemble the barrier board, simply compress the board until closed, Place the legs inside and push down until the legs lock-in.
7. Your Compact-a-barrier is now ready to be again, easily transported or stored.
