Universal Plastics was first established in 1987 and has been expanding slowly but firmly since that time.
We first started with one plastic injection moulding machine and now have eight ranging from 15 tons through to 600 tons.
Since 1989 we have entered the building market in which we are using recycled plastic to produce plastic reinforcement supports better known as bar chairs even till this day along with around 100 different products ranging from electronic housing to baby nursery products.
Universal Plastics produces a variety of Plastic Storage Bins/Crates that can be used for Industrial and Commercial applications, they come in a variety of colours for easy identification and are suitable for food contact (except black/grey products) also features a stack and nest capability.
FOREVER GOOD PRODUCTS has come to life when working on "THE PEG" project to evaluate the best material suitable for a product that constantly has a very short working life and the consumer has no alternative to change.
As this research was taking place there was the question of a constant supply of the Polymer to be used and that's when the use of recycled PET was the best choice. Because of past experience in the beverage industry and the problem, we have with recycling the number of soda bottles produced wasn't enough to consume the amount being recycled.
So with our first product on the world market, we could consume around 25% of the world's recycled PET from soda bottles alone with this clothes PEG. Hard to believe it isn't it?
